About Aurixa

Aurixa is a free tool for tracking live gold, silver and platinum prices in India — with real charts, calculators and plain-English guides. This page explains what we do, who it’s for, and exactly where our numbers come from.

Last updated: July 2026

What Aurixa is

Aurixa (at goldnexa.live) started from a simple frustration: checking today’s gold rate in India usually means landing on a cluttered page, unsure whether the number is live or hours old, or where it even came from. We wanted one clean place that shows the current rate, updates through the day, and is honest about how the figure is worked out.

Today the site offers live 24K, 22K and 18K gold rates, silver and platinum prices, a real 10-year price chart, a gold value calculator, a news feed, an AI advisor that answers questions using the current rates, and a directory of real jewellers near you.

Who it’s for

Aurixa is built for everyday buyers and savers in India — someone comparing today’s rate before visiting a jeweller, a family planning a wedding purchase, or anyone who simply likes to keep an eye on precious-metal prices. It is not a trading terminal, and we don’t sell gold. We’re an information tool.

Where our data comes from

We believe you should know the source of any number you’re shown. Aurixa aggregates data from established third-party providers rather than inventing prices:

How we calculate the rate you see

This is the part most price sites don’t explain. International markets quote gold in US dollars per troy ounce. Indian retail rates (like those from IBJA or GoodReturns) are higher than the raw international price for two reasons, and we account for both:

  1. Currency conversion. We convert the international spot price into rupees using the live USD/INR rate, then to a per-gram figure.
  2. India import duty. India levies an import duty on gold and silver. Because of this, the Indian reference rate sits above the bare international spot price, so we apply an adjustment factor to bring our displayed rate in line with what Indian buyers actually see.

The result is a rate that tracks the market in real time while reflecting Indian pricing reality. GST and a jeweller’s making charges are separate — they’re added at the shop, which is why our gold calculator lets you add them yourself.

Want the full picture? Our guide on why Indian gold rates differ from the international price walks through the maths step by step.

Our commitment to honest numbers

A few principles we hold to:

How Aurixa is funded

Aurixa is free to use. To cover the cost of running the servers and data feeds, we display advertising. This never changes the prices we show or the order of the jeweller listings. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and cookies work.
